  A Globalist family travelling over the Memorial Day holiday weekend was thanked for loyalty at check-in and upgraded to a Family Suite, one of the resort's standard suites, after scoring standard-suite availability at what is now a Category 8 property where standard rooms run 35,000 to 75,000 points a night. Arriving over an hour early during a weekend with two weddings, they were given welcome drinks and macarons, two premium drink tickets, $20 in casino credit, complimentary parking and late checkout, and were offered changing rooms to use the pools while the suite was prepared. Globalist breakfast at the poolside Palms restaurant was complimentary for two adults and two children, either as a buffet with made-to-order egg, crepe and waffle stations or as menu items up to the $31 adult and $15.50 child buffet price. They called it one of their favourite properties to date and were already considering a return despite the steep new award pricing.

  standard 2-queen room, 25k points per night → Resort View with Balcony room 568, 600 sq ft

  Asking to switch got a much bigger end-of-hall room with a full balcony. Stingy with upgrades at very low occupancy, but relaxed and uncrowded.
