On his third visit in a couple of years, in March 2026, the reviewer redeemed points for a standard room, confirmed a standard suite with a suite upgrade award, and wound up in a deluxe pool suite, a rooftop-style suite with a private pool facing the water. Globalist breakfast at the Great House, a high-quality buffet plus menu ordering with fresh juices and specialty coffees and no tax or service charge, was provided for four, two adults and two kids. The property felt relaxed and uncrowded even at a reported near 90 percent occupancy, his daughter rated the kids club her favourite anywhere, and requests made by WhatsApp were handled promptly, though service was generally slow but friendly, on-property dining was expensive with menus that bored after a few days, and small frustrations included one soap for two sinks, no do-not-disturb sign and a room-service QR code that errored out. His Globalist status is strongly evidenced by the suite upgrade award and Globalist breakfast described rather than stated in a single line, and he says he will keep going back.

Even in quiet late July, a plunge pool suite meant paying $150+ a night. Good family sailing trip and dinner at nearby Spice Mill.

Paid $310 a night to move up, skipping a $900-a-night villa. Big suite and plunge pool, but dim lighting and seaweed piled on the beach.

Gorgeous, peaceful resort with friendly staff and excellent housekeeping. All four breakfasts were waived, and they'd book again, but only on points.

Going well mid-stay over MLK weekend, with WhatsApp requests answered fast. Breakfast at the Great House, buffet plus an entree, was fully comped.

A Globalist booked four nights for cash at under $300 per night through a Hyatt Prive promotion that included a fourth night free and $700 in resort credits, and used a suite upgrade award to confirm a Sea View Suite. On arrival the hotel assigned a Park Executive Suite, room 521, a further bump up at about 775 square feet with a private infinity plunge pool. Breakfast was complimentary through both Globalist status and Prive as the Great House Selection, a buffet plus one menu item that normally runs $45 plus tax and service, and a bottle of white wine with sweets was waiting as a welcome amenity. Service was friendly and exceeded expectations despite an island-time pace, though room-service trays sat outside the room for about 24 hours twice and the mattress was too hard; he said he would return in a heartbeat.
