Standard room (cash, $25 plus tax per night after resort fee waived) → Renovated deluxe room
    Breakfast
    À la carte only

A Globalist stayed for the first time in July 2025 on a cheap cash rate and paid $25 plus tax per night once the $50 nightly resort fee was waived for his status, calling the renovated deluxe room spacious and excellent value with no upgrade outcome stated. Breakfast at Hash House A Go Go was complimentary but vegan choices were limited to potatoes and fruit with no plant-based milk for coffee. VIP check-in took over 30 minutes with one employee working despite only five people ahead, and the self check-in machine tried to sell him upgrades and breakfast that should have been free; he still rated the stay overall positive and said he would return.

Free-night certificates covered the pricey rodeo-weekend nights, and the room was quiet and clean despite a broken safe handle. Mediocre breakfast, great rooftop lounge view.

    Breakfast
    À la carte only

Breakfast felt pared back: some signature items off limits, $7 extra for chicken on a cobb salad, a broken cappuccino machine, and slow, poor service.

Big, well-decorated room and handy free valet. Breakfast required the Globalist in person with ID, so a son on a different schedule couldn't go alone.

The Ipanema tower room was big and nicer than expected off the Strip. Casino smoke, far-off garages and a chaotic weekend breakfast were the downsides.

Final bill far below the rate shown when booking through Hyatt, for reasons never looked into. Otherwise as expected, in a good way.

    Room
King Deluxe Renovated → large deluxe renovated room (connecting)

Disliked the connecting layout, with no other renovated room free. Large, clean and comfortable, fine for a cheap Vegas stay but not a special occasion.

    Honoured

A Globalist comparing Las Vegas Hyatt options was upgraded at check-in at the Rio to an executive one-bedroom suite of over 1,000 sq ft with a separate living space and wet bar. Breakfast at Hash House A Go Go was fully comped, a requested 4 p.m. late checkout was granted even though resorts are not required to offer it, parking was free, and the separate VIP desk agent knew the World of Hyatt benefits well. The pool was closed during his visit and parts of the property and Masquerade Tower felt dated, keeping the stay mixed despite the strong elite recognition.
