    Room
King room with view (Guest of Honor) → King room with view

Poor soundproofing: road and truck noise from 6am, footsteps above, heavy doors with no soft-close. Breakfast looked to cover $25 a person, food only.

    Breakfast
Full: buffet and à la carte

Pastries, drinks and $11 juices on top of entrees, well over $100 a day, and never billed a cent. Cafe staff bent over backwards.

    Room
standard room → King Studio (told it was a suite)

The suite upgrade looked more like a King Studio, but they were out most of the time. Still a great stay, with gorgeous finishes.

    Room
standard King (20k points) → premium patio suite

Upgraded the same day. Service still felt tentative in the soft opening and the cashless setup made tipping awkward, but staff were good overall.

    Late checkout
    Honoured

Train noise was audible but didn't disrupt sleep. Strong shower, comfy bed, 4pm checkout offered, and breakfast at etta Cafe ran under $20.
