Using a Diamond confirmed suite upgrade, which the review notes can be applied even to inexpensive corporate rates booked direct (this hotel asks for proof of eligibility for those rates, with standard rates running nearly $450 a night), the reviewer stayed in a harbour-view suite and had club lounge access, where breakfast was plentiful and table ordering was also available. An amenity was already waiting in the suite on arrival, and a letter outlined the club benefits. He praised the excellent club lounge and magnificent harbour views and said he was very happy with the stay and would try to return, while noting the rooms looked aged and could use an update. Status is recorded as unknown because the review uses the legacy Diamond tier name, which has no canonical slug.

On a five-night Points and Cash booking at 12,500 points plus about $150 a night, against a standard-room cash rate of about $645 a night, the reviewer used a Diamond suite upgrade to confirm a Grand Suite that retailed for about $1,160 a night, room 1410 on the 14th floor with more than 180-degree harbour views. He had Grand Club access and called the renovated lounge possibly the best of any Hyatt he has visited, with a large breakfast buffet, afternoon sweets and free-flowing Ruinart champagne at the evening reception, and he also took the restaurant buffet breakfast on later mornings with the charges removed at checkout. He called the stay spectacular value and the hotel his go-to in Hong Kong. Status is recorded as unknown because the review uses the legacy Diamond tier name, which has no canonical slug.
