A Globalist on a five-night stay used a Suite Upgrade Award through his Hyatt Concierge rather than risk a check-in upgrade in Japan, confirming a 77 sqm corner King Suite that typically costs about 70,000 yen per night extra when base rates run around 100,000 yen. Because his birthday fell during the stay, the hotel provided a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs champagne, freshly baked butter cookies and handwritten notes as welcome amenities. Globalist breakfast at NAMIKI667 was complimentary, priced at 5,000 yen otherwise, with made-to-order eggs, ikura and Japanese curry standing out despite modest variety for the 164-room hotel. He enjoyed the Ginza location five minutes from Ginza Six, though he questioned the value against the Andaz Tokyo and found the suite bed firm and bar service lacking.

Two nights on points at 21,000 per night against a cash price of about $650 per night during a Tokyo stopover on an Australia and New Zealand trip. No suite upgrades were available, but the couple was given a deluxe room upgrade and found the room huge by Tokyo standards and well decorated. They were told the Globalist breakfast was a buffet and took it each morning, calling it excellent with many choices apart from eggs cooked a little less than they liked, and they were shown the lobby area where World of Hyatt members can take snacks and drinks around the clock. They loved the cute, modern hotel and its service. Globalist status is strongly evidenced by the Globalist breakfast described and a closing note that having Globalist status made the Hyatt stays more excellent, rather than stated as a booking detail.
