  A Globalist couple stayed in June 2026 during the World Cup at 23,000 points per night, when the cash rate would have been about $450 to $500. He booked a standard room and used a Suite Upgrade Award to confirm the accessible Bowery Suite, the property's standard suite, then messaged the hotel that accessibility was not needed and was moved to a regular Bowery Suite, a true one-bedroom of 685 sq ft with floor-to-ceiling windows and more than 180 degrees of views. Globalist breakfast was served from a modest menu at The Crown rooftop, a 4 p.m. late checkout was proactively offered at check-in and used, valet parking was free on the award stay against a normal $80 plus tax, and the welcome amenity was two free bar drinks with chocolate-covered fortune cookies. He called the $40 destination fee irritating and the breakfast only acceptable, but said they would absolutely stay again for the room, views and value.
